Normal heat conductivity in a periodic chain of anharmonic oscillators

چکیده
We consider a periodic chain of coupled and pinned anharmonic oscillators subject to a nonequilibrium random forcing. Assuming that the six-point correlation functions of the stationary state factorize in terms of the two-point correlation functions, we show that the heat current going through the system is consistent with Fourier law and that the conductivity behaves as κ ∼ 1 λ2T2 where λ is the anharmonic coupling strength.
